My Story

Leadership is about Serving Others.

I grew up on a farm near a small town in Kansas, USA, and have called Beijing home for the past  5 years. After completing my undergraduate studies in Social Science and East Asian Studies at Kansas State University in 2016, I moved to Washington D.C. After a year in the Capital, I felt it was time for me to take control of my own destiny, packed my bags in March 2018 and relocated to China. 

I feel that I have adapted to life in Beijing by making the Chinese culture a part of my lifestyle. I quite enjoy spending time with locals and travelers alike, listening to their tales, and allowing each person that crosses my path to leave a lasting impression.

I always take time to talk with locals, enjoy traveling to smaller cities, and learning more deeply about Chinese culture. This has instilled in me the belief that most issues in the world today are caused by misunderstanding each other. Add to this the effects of a lack of common ground, and you get the world as it is today. 

With the purpose of preserving and sustaining all forms of connections to China bringing the world closer, bridging the understanding divide, and assisting both locals and expats overcome their daily challenges, …NaviTong International Consulting was born in 2022.

When you work with NaviTong International Consulting, you will benefit from my experiences, skills, and connections to Western and Eastern cultures and educational systems. I offer years of social media, client consultation, project management and event coordination experience and qualifications.

I still live in Beijing where I operate NaviTong International Consulting and freelance on various projects. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, playing badminton, traveling, and the occasional video game. I'm hopeful for what the future will hold.
